Attractions at Whalesong Hotel & Spa

Day trips are the order of the day at Whalesong Hotel & Spa. Activities include whale watching excursions, scuba diving, golfing, and exploring the Robberg Nature Reserve.

Whales, Water and Wildlife

There is much to do in the region where the hotel is located. Take your pick from three beaches where you can swim, venture out on a whale watching ocean excursion during migration season, or try some local scuba diving. Back on land, pay a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary, Birds of Eden sanctuary and Monkey Land.

Back at the Hotel...

While day excursions are an easy feat at Whalesong Hotel & Spa, you won’t need to venture further than the front door to find something to do. Make your way to the wellness spa, relax by the pool and bar area or saunter out among the gardens. There’s also a craft gin bar for gin tasting experiences, and an outdoor cinema for movie nights.

Pop in at Knysna

Knysna, at the heart of the Garden Route, is renowned for its lush, indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches, not to mention its Knysna Oyster Festival, Pink Loerie Mardi Gras and the Knysna Cycle Tour. This little green gem is a must-visit for families and romantics – its Thesen Island, waterfront and lagoon offering a range of enjoyable activities for all ages.

More from the Garden Route

If you are up for a full day trip during your stay, hop through to Sedgefield and Wilderness, and you’ll eventually end up in George. It is well-known for its golf courses and The Outeniqua Transport Museum, featuring a fine collection of old steam trains and vintage cars.
